Day 1: Hanoi - Arrival
Arrival in Hanoi, the guide and the driver of Innotravel Vietnam pick you up at the airport to bring you to Hanoi. Possibility of early check-in at the hotel. Day 2: Hanoi - Ba Be (230 km ≈ 5.5 hours drive)
Visit the Ba Be site where there is a large freshwater lake bordered by a natural park. Spread over 8km, Ba Be Lake, the largest expanse of natural water in North Vietnam, is actually divided into 3 parts, hence the name Three Bays. Stop on the road in the province of Thai Nguyen which is known for its specialty "green tea". Among the villages around the lake are Bo Lu, and PacNgoi inhabited by the Tay ethnic minority. It is in Ba Be, where you arrive in the afternoon, that you settle in a house on stilts Tay. Meeting with the natives and discovering their original culture.

Day 3: Visit of Ba Be & its surroundings
Early in the morning, we take you for a boat trip (3 hours) to discover the lake of Ba Be, the lake and its sumptuous landscapes of limestone cliffs and mountains with lush vegetation. The guide tells you the thousand-year-old legend of his formation. A true haven of peace, this area is surrounded by high mountains, covered with primary forests, between which flows the Nang River which feeds the lake.
Afternoon cycling tour through the forest and rice paddies of the park. Exploration of the great diversity of fauna and flora of the site.
Return to the hosts towards the end of the day.

Day 4: Ba Be - Cao Bang - Quang Uyen (150 km ≈ 3 hours drive)
Transfer to Quang Uyen, a small district located on Cao Bang Road on the Chinese border. You visit villages where trades: paper, cloth and tile. Upon arrival, explore the Tay and Nung minority villages where the traditional two-storey houses with a Ying-Yang tile roof and mud walls are characteristic.
End of the day, homestay installation of the Nung ethnic group.
Dinner and overnight in their house on stilts.
Day 5: Quang Uyen - Ban Gioc - Cao Bang (150 km ≈ 3.5 hours drive)
Transfer to Ban Gioc, the extreme east of Vietnam. You pass through many hills covered with lush vegetation and small waterfalls.
Arrival at Trung Khanh, visit the Ban Gioc Falls, one of the most beautiful and majestic waterfalls in Vietnam.
Then transfer to Dam Thuy and visit the Nguom Ngao caves that visitors can reach through the Ban Gioc Falls or the wonderful pass of Ma Phuc.
Return to Cao Bang and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Cao Bang - Bao Lac (120 km ≈ 3 hours drive)
Continuing the journey and arrival at Bao Lac, a small village on the banks of the river Gam where several minorities like Tay, Nung and Lo Lo blacks, many stops are planned in the program.

Day 7: Bao Lake - Dong Van (100 km ≈ 3 hours drive)
Departure for Dong Van, a grandiose plateau of Vietnam. You can observe the gigantic collar of Ma Pi Leng, which overlooks a spectacular panorama with a height of 2000 meters.
Arrival at Dong Van. Installation at the hotel.
Day 8: Dong Van - Yen Minh - Quan Ba (150 km ≈ 3 hours drive)
Transfer to Ha Giang, you will be able to observe the extraordinary landscapes of hills, valleys and stone forests, etc., or stop at Sa Phin to visit the King's Palace of Hmong VuongChinh Duc (1865-1947) and explore the history of the French presence (1887-1945) in the community of minority ethnic groups such as Hmong, Tay, Nung, etc .; to Pho Cao to discover old neighborhoods with century-old multi-storey clay houses; Finally in Quan Ba to admire the Gate of Heaven built in the 20th century by the leaders of local minorities and the French.
Towards the end of the day, arrival at Quan Ba. Night at the Red Dao.
Day 9: Hike to Quan Ba - Ha Giang
Hiking to explore the forests and mountains of HaGiang. The route passes through latanier forests and ancestral tea plantations. Stop along the way to visit a village of Lung Tam crafts where women still weave in the traditional way. You can find the best ethnic handicrafts.
Day 10: Ha Giang - Hanoi (300 km ≈ 6 hours drive)
Breakfast at the inhabitant, then return to Hanoi. Upon arrival, relax enjoying the local massage service.
Note: Possibility of extending the trip with excursions to the Ninh Binh Land Bay or the wonderful Halong Bay.
