Day 1 (12 Dec 2017): Saigon - My Tho - Unicorn Island (Thoi Son, Tien Giang) - Phoenix Island (Ben Tre) - Cai Be (Dinner)
- 08:00: Meet at your hotel. With your guide, departure from Saigon to My Tho by private car (about 2h drive)
The most lively city of the Mekong Delta is My Tho, 84 km from Saigon. This trip proposes to discover the diversity of life and landscapes in a rice delta immensity. Huge international ships moving slowly along the Sai Gon River. On the road, you will see the daily activities of local people along the river, farmers and herders exchange the products of their land.
- Arrival at My Tho. Boarding a boat for the walk through 4 islands: Long "Dragon", Lan "Unicorn", Who "Turtle", Phung "Phenix" on the Mekong River. Stop at the famous island of the Unicorn. You can make a small trek and go for a ride by rowing boat. Tasting tropical fruits in an orchard, tea and honey from a traditional farm beekeeping.
- From here, take a motor boat ride to Ben Tre province to visit a coconut candy artisanal workshop on Phoenix Island. Continue your discovery by a horse-cart ride on the trails of the Ben Tre countryside, followed by a sampan ride through the narrow canals.
- Around 15:30, disembarkation and departure of My Tho for Cai Be by private car.
- Boarding aboard a boat to bring you to the ancient Ba Duc house.
- Check in your room and rest.
- Around 18:30, cooking class with the owner.
- Dinner with prepared dishes.
- Homestay in Cai Be.
Day 2 (13 Dec 2017): Cai Be Floating Market - Vinh Long - Can Tho (Breakfast, Dinner)
- The sampan will take you to visit the floating market of Cai Be, in the early morning with sellers and buyers exchange their goods from their boats.
The floating market Cái Bè is the meeting point of traders from all over the region and stretches for several kilometers, shared between sellers and buyers. A true pleasure of the senses for visitors who find themselves faced with an incredible mosaic of colors and fragrances.
- Visit craft factories: puffed rice cakes, coconut milk candies, rice cakes. Tasting tea and honey from a traditional farm beekeeping.
- Then, a stroll through the labyrinth of shady canals to reach a local fruit orchard of the tropical region and see the daily activities of local people on Tan Phong Island. Tropical fruit tasting and folklore show of the Mekong Delta.
- A small rowing boat ride through the peaceful arroyos of the Mekong River
- Restitution of the motorized boat which will then take you to the island of An Binh (city of Vinh Long), or grow hundreds of species of tropical fruits all the year round.
- Cycling in the countryside around the island.
- Continuation of the cruise to the port of Vinh Long across the river Tien.
- Landing at the port of Vinh Long. Visit the Vinh Long Market for a look at several local products in the stores.
- Then drive from Vinh Long to Can Tho by private car.

Day 3 (14 Dec 2017): Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Sai Gon (Breakfast)
- After early breakfast, around 6:00 am, departure from Can Tho for a cruise to the floating market of Cai Rang, one of the largest floating markets of the Mekong.
- Cai Rang Market is located not far from the city of Can Tho. On an arm of the Mekong, at sunrise, we see hundreds of boats equipped with a long bamboo pole at the end of which is planted a pineapple, a tomato, a fruit of the dragon ... This is what sell the peasants of the delta. Each went up the river on his sampan loaded with a pyramid of fruits or vegetables.
- Landing at Ninh Kieu wharf.
- Route for the visit of the 19th century antique house of Binh Thuy, which served as a backdrop for the film L'Amant adapted from the book of the same name by Marguerite Duras.
- Free lunch at a local restaurant in Binh Thuy.
- Then transfer back to Saigon. Arrival around 17:30.
